Responsibilities:
- Provide personal assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with lifting and transferring individuals as needed
- Provide nursing care and administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Assist with childcare duties, including supervision and engaging in activities
- Drive individuals to appointments, outings, and other locations as necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Provide social work support and assistance with social interactions
- Support individuals with autism in their daily routines and activities
Experience:
- Previous experience in personal assistance or caregiving roles preferred
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and strategies for supporting individuals with autism
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with individuals of all ages
