Description

All prospective employees are required to provide the following documentation:

  • Cert III or Cert IV Individual Support/ Ageing Support / community service (or equivalent)
  • National Police/Criminal Check
  • Infection control and hand hygiene training certificates
  • Competency in manual handling
  • Immunisation Record with influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations

Some key points for your role are as below:

  • Excellent customer service and nursing/care skills Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Provide and/or assist participants with personal care (assistance with toileting, meal preparation, showering and sponging etc.)
  • Apply behaviour support plan into practice and daily routines. Support participants with challenging behaviours.
  • Support participant-centred approach when providing care. Support to access the community, cognitive support and mentoring.
  • Protect and respect the privacy, confidentiality and rights of participants.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and boundaries.
  • Adhere to the given roster and policies

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $31.00 – $32.14 per hour
