Are you passionate about helping older people live independently and with dignity in their own homes?

For many of our clients, your visit is about more than just getting the job done. It's about reliability, trust and connection. Tell us which weekdays and hours you're available between 8am and 5pm, and we'll work with you to build a regular roster around your availability.

About the role

You'll generally work with regular clients in the North Brisbane areas, giving you the opportunity to get to know them and provide consistent, personalised care.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Supporting clients with safe movement and mobility
• Following individual client care plans
• Shopping and errands
• Household cleaning
• Changing bed linen
• Laundry and dishes
• Providing companionship and respectful support

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are:

• Passionate about helping the elderly maintain their dignity and independence.
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to communicate effectively in English and engage respectfully and tactfully with clients
• Committed to providing a great service for their clients.

You'll also need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid certification
• Appropriate manual-handling certification
• Australian driver's licence
• Reliable vehicle
• Current Police Check
• Current NDIS Check
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
• Australian working rights
• Flexibility to travel at least 30 Kilometres if required.
