JOB OVERVIEW

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can provide both physical and emotional support to clients in care homes or home care settings. You will be responsible for following care plans and assisting clients with personal hygiene, mobility, and other daily tasks.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience in home care or working in a care home setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with healthcare professionals.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families. This role is ideal for individuals who are empathetic, reliable, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those they assist.

    Pay: £12.85 per hour

  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or care manager.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required.
