JOB SUMMARY

Cross County Private Nursing (CCPN) is a concierge-style home health and private nursing agency providing premium care for clients in the comfort of their own homes and during travel to the area. We specialize in 24/7 care, post-op recovery, long-term care, care during travel, and luxury concierge health services. We are seeking compassionate and professional personal care assistants (PCAs) to provide high-quality support to our clients. While we welcome all applicants, we currently have specific assignments with male clients who have requested male caregivers for personal care and comfort. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Please note that some clients request same-gender caregivers for personal care, and we aim to honor these preferences when assigning cases. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in caregiving or personal care roles is preferred, particularly in senior care or long-term care settings.
  • Knowledge of first aid practices and basic medical terminology is essential.
  • Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other memory-related conditions is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with assisted living environments, retirement homes, group homes, or home & community care is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving including lifting, transferring, and cleaning duties.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required for positions involving transportation of residents.

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing behavior management strategies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of living areas to ensure a safe environment.
