Description Personal Care Assistant - PCA FT & PT Hours Available Day Shift Available 8a-8p This position provides personal care and related services to patient in the home. We have full-time and part-time shifts available. CNS employees work in the privacy of each patient’s home allowing you more time one-on-one to get to know your patient and provide quality care. This support also empowers the patient to remain as independent and comfortable as possible at home. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. · Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality · be able to work with others at all levels of the Company · have exceptional customer service, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include: · Follows the Plan of Care to provide safe, competent care/services to the patient. · Help the patient maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthy, safe environment · Plan and prepare nutritious meals. · Assist the patient with ambulation as detailed by Patient Care Plan. · Encourage the patient's independence but not exceed their capabilities outlined out in the Patient's Care Plan. · Performs routine housekeeping tasks. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education/Training High School graduate or equivalent. Licensure/Certification Valid Driver’s License Hands On CPR/First Aide Certification Clearances The following background checks are conducted: Criminal background • Drug Screening Driving Record • OIG Exclusion List Sex Offender Registry
