Description

We are looking for someone who is reliable and able to travel to Croydon 5 times per week for an 37.5 paid hours. Care duties for an elderly man such as personal care, food prep, cleaning and shopping assistance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide 24-hour care to an individual who has experienced a stroke and is currently bed-bound. This role involves supporting the client with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety, and promoting overall well-being. The caregiver will work 8-hour shifts and will be responsible for providing personal care, administering medication, assisting with mobility, and monitoring the client’s health.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in caring for stroke patients or those with similar conditions preferred.
  • Ability to work 6-8 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, empathetic nature.
  • Physical stamina to assist with mobility and positioning.
  • A DBS check will be required.
