JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a caring and reliable Personal Care Assistant to help individuals with everyday tasks and ensure their comfort and well-being. QUALIFICATIONS

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A PSS Certificate (or willingness to begin training within 2 months of hire and complete within 9 months)
  • Experience in social services or a related care field (preferred but not required)
  • At least one year of experience providing direct client care is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with individuals from various backgrounds
  • A high school diploma or GED (preferred)

Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Helping clients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and meal support
  • Administering and tracking medications in accordance with prescribed guidelines
  • Assisting with mobility and other physical tasks to support client independence
  • Offering companionship and emotional support through conversation and activities
  • Keeping living spaces clean and safe with basic housekeeping
  • Accurately recording care activities and notifying staff of any health or behavior changes
  • Working with nurses, social workers, and other professionals to deliver customized care plans
