About the role

You'll generally work with regular clients across the Northern Sydney areas, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships and provide consistent, personalised care. This is a full-time position, so you'll need to be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, while travelling between clients within the Northern Sydney region.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Supporting clients with safe movement and mobility
• Following individual client care plans
• Shopping and errands
• Household cleaning
• Changing bed linen
• Laundry and dishes
• Providing companionship and respectful support

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are:

• Passionate about helping the elderly maintain their dignity and independence.
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to communicate effectively in English and engage respectfully and tactfully with clients
• Committed to providing a great service for their clients.

You'll also need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid certification
• Appropriate manual-handling certification
• Australian driver's licence
• Reliable vehicle
• Current Police Check
• Current NDIS Check
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
• Full Australian working rights
• Flexibility to travel at least 30 Kilometres if required.
