ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking experienced personal care assistants to work on one of our programs in Warragul, specifically focusing on providing care for a client with high complex care needs. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who require specialised care and support around the clock.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travelling to client’s home to assist with all aspects of care to ensure their daily lifestyle and needs are met.
• Experience in complex bowel care
• Experience with showering, oral care and continence management
• Help with mobility to transfer client to different locations
• Administering medications
• Assisting with personal care as required
• Provide person-centred care with a focus on dignity, safety and well being
• Maintaining clear communication channels and promptly reporting any changes in our clients’ health
• Community support ie shopping, medical appointments and activities of interest
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including making beds and cleaning rooms.
• Adapting care plans to address the unique requirements of each client.
