We are seeking experienced Personal Care Workers for our Ascot Waters Home on a Permanent Full time basis. Should be available to work a mix of AM & PM shifts.

Responsibilities

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Personal Care Worker, you will work under the guidance of our Registered Nurses, assisting our residents with their daily living activities to enhance their well-being and ensure care delivery is to the highest standard.
The Personal Care Worker role is part of an integrated team of professionals who work within an agreed clinical care framework to provide personalised care to our residents. This role is vital in ensuring we maintain high-quality care and high quality of life for our residents at all times.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support residents in living the life they choose by allowing them to exercise choice and independence
  • Contribute to the overall quality of life of our residents that include the areas of physical, emotional and lifestyle interests
  • Implement clinical and care interventions delegated by the Registered Nurses, and as documented in the residents’ care plan
  • Assist residents with their personal care needs while encouraging their independence
  • Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and deliver care with dignity and compassion
  • Provide care to our residents with respect, kindness and patience
  • Respect our residents with their dignity, privacy and choice
