Employee Type: Casual Work Setting: Community home care Pay Range: $ 22.00-24.00 per hour Canadian Dollar (CAD) Key Responsibilities: Providing Essential Homemaking Support: Execute homemaking tasks according to the established care plan, ensuring the highest standards of comfort and safety for our clients. Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: Perform light housekeeping duties, including washing dishes, doing laundry, making beds, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, vacuuming, and removing garbage. Meal Preparation and Shopping: Prepare nutritious meals as outlined in the care plan and shop for groceries and personal items. Childcare and Pet Care: Provide attentive childcare and pet care as specified in the care plan. Monitoring and Reporting: Observe client conditions meticulously and report any unusual events or changes in condition promptly. Infection Prevention: Adhere to infection prevention practices to ensure a safe environment. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed client records and documentation as required. Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities to stay updated with best practices in home support.
