ABOUT THE ROLE An exciting opportunity awaits personal care workers to join the team. As a personal care worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, companionship, transportation and promote independence for our older persons. Personal care workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older persons. ABOUT YOU  To be successful you must:  * previous experience working in aged care or personal care (desirable) * ability to work independently and effectively manage time * be able to follow policies and procedures at all times  * be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals ROLE REQUIREMENTS * certificate III in Individual Support/ Home and Community Care/ Aged Care/ Health Care/Services assistant, Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification * a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence  * a roadworthy, registered and comprehensively insured car * NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain) * current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or the ability to obtain) * NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' certificate  * current immunisation history statement  ABOUT THE OFFER * casual hourly rate of $43.23 - $44.59 per hour + super * up to $15,900 FBT salary packaging benefits  * access to fitness passport  * flexible working arrangements  * career pathways and opportunities for development * employee assistance program offering confidential counselling support for employees  APPLYING  If this sounds like you, please submit your resume outlining your skills and experience.
