If you are a reliable, compassionate and independent carer who would like to help us provide wellbeing support for a woman with advanced motor neurone disease (MND) we’d love to hear from you. While she is non-verbal, she is still very social and loves having someone there to tell some stories and help with her daily cares. We need some help every second weekend (days) and there are plenty more shifts available for someone with the experience to do some more advanced medical care tasks. More specific duties include: •Assistance with personal cares within scope (no solo heavy lifts) •Supporting comfort, positioning, and wellbeing •Communication with family and existing care team •Providing calm, consistent presence in the home About you Due to the nature of this role, its important we have the right person.
