Your Role as Personal Carer You’ll deliver person-centred services across Sinnamon Park aged care facilities, disability, community services, and wellbeing settings. You’ll deliver high quality of service to care recipients in their homes which includes cleaning, showering, providing personal and hygiene care, catering, assisting with mealtimes and with general mobility. We're looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, qualified Personal Carer. Bring your compassion and skills to our team in a role where even the small things you do make a difference. As a Personal Carer you are passionate and are driven by a career with purpose! You will work as part of a team to provide personal care in a neighbourhood community like environment for residents. As a Personal Carer you will complete activities that include: Build positive relationships with care recipients, families and colleagues and ensuring any queries, comments, suggestions or concerns raised are managed or reported promptly. Positively contribute to the warmth and welcoming culture of the Home through the delivery of customer centric care. Provide daily living assistance to care recipients which includes showering, personal care and hygiene, assist at meal times and general mobility. Actively contribute to quality improvement activities designed to improve the quality of care and services by sharing your ideas. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of information about resident care and wellbeing through appropriate channels to the Registered/ Clinical Nurse or Facility Manager Assist and support care recipients to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life. Take all reasonable care for ones own health and safety and that of others by complying with all relevant policies and procedure. Put the Eden Domains of wellbeing into practice. What We’re Looking For Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification Experience with technology incl. use of smartphones, tablets, laptops etc Good interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with team members Customer service skills with a demonstrated desire to help people with sensitivity and understanding Essential Requirements Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
