The Opportunity We are seeking a qualified accountant to serve as Financial Controller providing personal financial support to the founder of a global international law firm. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-level financial management and strategic support for complex personal financial structures, working directly with the senior partner in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting Oversee personal financial operations across multiple entities, including trusts and estate planning structures Maintain accurate financial records and produce regular reporting on assets, liabilities, and cash flow Coordinate inter-entity transfers and ensure proper documentation and compliance Monitor and reconcile bank accounts across various entities and jurisdictions Operational Support Manage bill payment processes and vendor relationships Track and organize investment holdings and related documentation Coordinate with external advisors including wealth managers, attorneys, and tax professionals Maintain organized financial filing systems and ensure document retention protocols Strategic Partnership Provide proactive financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency Anticipate financial management needs and develop solutions independently Serve as trusted partner on confidential and sensitive financial matters Qualifications: Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification) 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably including family office, private wealth, or high-net-worth client service Strong understanding of trust structures, estate planning entities, and multi-entity accounting Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping High degree of discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with accounting software and financial management platforms
