POSITION OVERVIEW

As our Demand Writer, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive demand packages with persuasive and articulate narratives that outline the facts of the case, the injuries sustained, and the medical treatment received. This is a critical role that requires a strong ability to review, prepare, and compile medical records to create comprehensive demand packages that effectively communicate the client’s needs and the merits of their claims.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years’ experience in writing Demand Letters for personal injury claims
• Experience with Minor’s Compromise petitions, pleadings and other legal memoranda is highly desirable
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to interpret medical records
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, content, formatting, grammar, and spelling
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Resourceful with strong research capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Upon request, present a portfolio or writing samples for review

• Draft and deliver comprehensive demand packages, ensuring all details are accurate and professionally presented
• Compose compelling arguments explaining the medical injuries sustained by the client in order to obtain maximum settlement amounts from insurance companies
• Handle multiple cases independently with minimal errors
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines
• Organize medical records, bills, and client documents into a cohesive demand package
• Identify liable insurance companies and parties
• Identify potential issues and or missing records and bills
• Notify case managers of pending or missing records or bills
• Provide weekly report on demands completed
• Maintain a high standard of grammar and writing with zero tolerance for errors
• Take constructive criticism well and apply feedback to improve work quality
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
