Description:

Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal
Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid Working)
Salary Range: £25,000 to £32,000 + Benefits
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

  • Running a mixture of pre-litigated and litigated cases
  • Overseeing a ranges of fast-track personal injury claims following claimants sustaining injuries as a result of road traffic accidents
  • Conducting investigations, liability reviews, legal research, medical record analysis, case valuations and settlement negotiations
  • Providing expert legal advice to clients in relation to injury and accident claims
  • Drafting of legal documents such as court forms, statements and correspondence
  • Managing claims, including OIC and MOJ cases
  • Also overseeing non-portal cases as/when required

Application Criteria’s:

  • Previous experience handling personal injury claims is essential
  • Working knowledge of the OIC and/or the MOJ Portals is required
  • Experience handling litigated or pre-litigated personal injury cases highly advantageous
