REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation (military claims experience a bonus, not essential)
  • A keen interest in high-value and complex claimant work
  • Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
  • Law degree and/or LPC/SQE preferred
  • Organised, proactive, and eager to learn – full training provided
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are recruiting on behalf of a top-tier specialist personal injury firm with an outstanding reputation for handling military claims. Our client is looking for a Personal Injury Paralegal to join their highly regarded team based in Castleford, with flexible hybrid working available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated paralegal with at least 2 years of experience in personal injury to specialise in complex military claims, including NFCI, PTSD, training accidents, and service-related hearing loss.
Full training is provided, and there is a clear pathway for career development – including the opportunity to secure a training contract with the firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting solicitors with a caseload of military personal injury matters from instruction to settlement/trial
  • Drafting legal documents including witness statements, instructions to counsel, and court forms
  • Reviewing medical evidence and assisting with quantum and liability assessments
  • Liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and the Ministry of Defence
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records in line with court deadlines
