A unique and rewarding opportunity for a Personal Injury Paralegal to join our law firm based in West London on a full time basis. We offer competitive salary based on experience + bonus scheme (based on meeting billing targets), and professional development opportunities.

Experience:

  • Personal Injury: 1 year (required
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have experience working on every stage of a personal injury case and be able to manage their own case load.

Main duties include:

  • General case management including managing documents, and responsibility for the meeting of deadlines;
  • Drafting protocol letters, court documents and other documents such as witness statements and schedules of loss;
  • Researching case law;
  • Liaising with defendant insurers and solicitors;
  • Liaising with counsel and experts;
  • Reviewing medical records and drafting chronologies;
  • Speaking with clients and drafting letters of advice;
  • Attending hearings, conferences;
  • Attending fee earner meetings to discuss new enquiries and caseloads;
  • Taking initial enquiries from new clients;
  • Assisting the Office Manager with administrative tasks;

Supervision, support and relevant training will be provided although the successful applicant will also be encouraged, where appropriate, to use their own initiative.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a University degree;
  • Have an experience of assisting on personal injury claims;
  • Possess a passion for law and assisting vulnerable clients;
  • Be able to work well under pressure;
  • Be self-motivated and proactive;
  • Be an excellent communicator;
  • Be well organised with good attention to details;
  • Be a great team player;
