Job Description We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of three years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate has direct experience handling discovery, medical records management, and case preparation in personal injury matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, strict deadline management, independent work capacity, and a commitment to high-level client service. This is not an entry-level administrative role. This position requires an experienced litigation professional who can independently manage deadlines, discovery, and medical documentation with precision and urgency. Core Responsibilities Manage cases from pre-suit through litigation filing. Draft, review, and manage discovery demands and responses. Prepare Bills of Particulars, authorizations, and related litigation documents. Coordinate and track medical treatment, records, and billing documentation. Maintain accurate damages tracking and medical tabs within Litify. Organize medical records chronologically by provider. Ensure all litigation deadlines are calendared and met without supervision. Prepare exhibits and assist with trial preparation as needed. Conduct monthly client updates in Spanish and English. Collaborate professionally with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution. Compensation Salary range: $85k - $115k annually, based on experience and demonstrated capability. Schedule 8:30AM to 5PM or 9:30AM to 6PM EST Fully on-site Monday through Friday at our office: 535 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10017 Qualifications Minimum Requirements Fluent in English and Spanish, written and verbal. Minimum three years of personal injury litigation experience. Direct experience drafting and responding to discovery. Experience preparing Bills of Particulars and medical authorizations. Demonstrated responsibility for managing litigation deadlines. Experience using case management software, Litify preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Additional Information Paid Time Off: All employees who work 30 hours per week and above qualify for Paid Time Off. You will accrue a total of 4.62 hours per pay period for a total of three (3) weeks per year. Health Benefits: All employees who work 30 hours per week and above will be eligible for benefits starting on the 1st day of the month following their start date. The firm covers a fixed amount which typically covers 40 - 65% of the employee premium, depending on the selected plan. The medical insurance plans include options for national coverage and free mental health services. There are also dental plans (with unlimited coverage) and vision plans to choose from at the employee’s expense. Disability Benefits: All employees who work 30 hours per week will have Short-term and Long-term Disability benefits, paid for by the firm. Life Insurance: For all employees who work 30 hours per week and above, the firm provides 1X earnings life insurance coverage paid for by the firm. In addition, you will receive a Firm paid accidental death and dismemberment benefit that matches your life insurance coverage. Supplemental insurance options include Critical Illness, Accident, Cancer, Hospital Confinement Indemnity insurance, Term Life insurance, and Whole life insurance Retirement: All employees who work 30 hours per week and above qualify for the 401(K) plan. After the employee completes one year of service, the firm will match 100% of the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2%, with immediate vesting.
