THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Personal Lines Data Entry & Underwriting Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting team by:

• Contributing to risk analysis and premium calculation.
• Accurately entering information into our policy systems.
• Providing exceptional assistance to brokers and policyholders through responsive inquiries.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and improve our service offerings.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist underwriters in processing new applications, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, declines, and quotes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Request inspections in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare related correspondence and maintain supporting documentation as required.
• Respond to inquiries and provide support to brokers through verbal and written communication.
• Guide and direct brokers on the use of our policy and billing information technology system.
• Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with brokers to maintain a stable and profitable book of business.
• Assist colleagues with special projects and other assigned tasks.
