Position Summary Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Personal Lines sales and account management team. This includes overseeing day-to-day sales activities, client and relationship management, developing and implementing successful sales strategies, and effectively managing the overall sales process and sales team performance. Job Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Lines sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide ongoing coaching, support, and development opportunities for sales team members, specifically those who are new and/or unvalidated. Set clear sales goals, performance expectations, and monitor progress against those goals. Sales Strategies: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth in Personal Lines. Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to inform sales strategies. Collaborate with agency senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Sales Processes & Systems: Oversee the Advisor sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience. Identify opportunities for improvement. Create standardized processes and systems to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with other agency leaders to align the operational needs of their department with the agency’s overall operational goals and objectives. Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales team performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership. Hold team members accountable and implement performance improvement plans when necessary. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Property and Casualty insurance licensed. Previous experience in Personal insurance sales, with a proven track record of success. Prior experience in a leadership or management role within the insurance industry preferred. Advanced knowledge of Personal insurance products and services. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to have positive customer interactions and maintain positive customer relationships. Excellent computer skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel), web-based computer applications, and other agency management systems. Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects or tasks, meet established deadlines, and change priorities as business needs require. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, but also independently with minimal daily supervision. The ability to utilize basic office equipment, such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitors, printer, copier, and scanner.
