This field-based role is responsible for inspecting high-value homes (valued over $3,000,000) and providing expert replacement cost valuations along with engineering-based loss prevention recommendations. The position covers a multi-state territory in the Upper Midwest and involves significant travel. Positions serving territories away from our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio, may be fully remote. Starting pay: The pay range for this position is $70,000-$125,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. Be ready to: conduct detailed field inspections to: determine accurate replacement cost valuations assess risk acceptability identify potential loss hazards provide clear and actionable loss prevention recommendations identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and communicate them to the marketing and underwriting teams interview contractors regularly to stay informed on current construction costs and building trends in your territory Be equipped with: strong knowledge of building techniques, materials and designer-grade interior finishes exceptional understanding of risk factors including protection class, building materials and hazard identification professionalism, tact and strong interpersonal skills excellent time management and organizational abilities high attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight strong math, verbal communication and creative problem-solving skills the ability to manage client and agency relationships using effective conflict resolution techniques a collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with agents, underwriting and marketing teams Bring education and experience from: a minimum of five years of experience in insurance inspections, property valuation, construction or high-value property claims experience in training or instructing others (preferred) Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
