POSITION SUMMARY:
The Personal Safety Manager plans, manages, and directs the activities of contractor safety, Turnarounds/Projects and the behavior-based safety program. The role develops and implements relevant and timely Refining Standard Practices for emerging safety regulations and initiatives.
The Personal Safety Manager supports the Refinery’s commitment for continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, Safety and Security performance. The Personal Safety Manager evaluates personnel and fosters the technical safety knowledge, safety leadership, and career development of their staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Safety or other related degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience. (Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date)
- A Valid Driver’s License is required.
