Description Love Where You Work! Excellent per diem opportunity! MVH - Caribou is seeking per diem Personal Support Specialists (PSS). Under the supervision of the Residential Care Director, the Personal Support Specialist provides care that meets the physical and psychosocial needs of residents according to the residents’ functional assessment, service plan, and as directed by the supervisor. This care is delivered in a manner that highlights each resident’s abilities, preserves dignity and enhances quality of life. Requirements PSS or CNA certification required. CPR Certification preferred. High School graduate or GED equivalent required. Experience in a nursing home environment or work/volunteer experience with the elderly preferred. Requires proficiency in spoken and written English. Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
