OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether they are residing in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or receiving home care. Caregivers will be responsible for delivering personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence.

SKILLS

  • Experience in assisted living, senior care, or hospice care is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of patient care practices and familiarity with dementia care techniques.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a safe living environment.
  • Proficiency in meal preparation that meets nutritional needs.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client status.
