Comfort Keepers is looking for Personal Support Workers (PSW) in the Alliston and surrounding areas to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home. Shifts are available for days and evenings in the community setting. Candidates must be willing to work weekends, alternating weekends or a consistant weekend day.
In this position you will provide support and assistance in community setting for private and government funded homecare. Join a growing family dedicated to providing companionship, personal care and other health care needs for individuals in their homes. Our Personal Support Workers provide exceptional in-home and companion experiences and assist with services detailed in our customized personal care service plans.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Driver with a vehicle that can be used for the purposes of work (no client transportation)
• Access to a cellular data enabled mobile phone
• Local to the greater Alliston area
• Must have a current Vulnerable Sector Police check (within past 6 months) or be willing to obtain one
• PSW certificate, DSW certificate, 2nd yr+ Canadian nursing student, graduate of a Canadian nursing program or are an IEN
• Current BLS/CPR
• Up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations per PHAC recommendations
• Seasonal influenza vaccination
