Job Summary The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. Responsibilities Assistance with personal care and hygiene Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Accompany clients on outings Shopping and errands Medication Assist/ Reminders Ambulation and transporting of clients Provide companionship to clients Ability to follow care-plan Documentation Qualifications Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student). Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain Ability to travel around the location territory Access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

Provide essential personal care, hygiene assistance, and companionship to clients in their homes. Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assist with medication reminders and transportation.
