QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current registration in good standing and no practice restrictions with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Minimum two (2) years of recent, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in long-term care, community, or chronic care.
  • Minimum two (2) years of teaching / Instructor experience is required.
  • Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to professional integrity, student success, and quality education.

Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Clinical Instructors to join our NACC-accredited Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program. Clinical Instructors are responsible for teaching and evaluating the practical/lab components, supervising students during their first 100 hours of clinical placement, and providing ongoing support to students throughout their internship and community placements. This role ensures that students gain the essential hands-on skills, professional knowledge, and confidence required to succeed as PSWs in Ontario.
