The Multi-Service Centre (MSC) is a non-profit organization serving the tri-counties area of Oxford, Elgin and Norfolk and focusing on delivering essential services to our community. Staff and management provide high quality, client driven care programs including Adult Literacy & Essential Skills, Employment Programs and Home Support services

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys seeing the positive impact of their work within their community. We are looking for an individual who is willing to work evenings. As a PSW/DSW you will be part of a diverse and forward-thinking team who provides exceptional services to the tri-counties area of Oxford, Elgin, and Norfolk!

· The provision of a variety of direct support care services to individuals in the community
· Performing Personal Care Tasks (including assistance with bathing, hygiene, grooming, dressing, foot care, transfers & mobility)
· Performing Household Management Tasks (e.g. light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning & preparation, errands)
· Providing socialization visits and care giver relief
· Promoting Wellness (e.g. encourage client independence and involvement in the care plan)
· Respecting and protecting the rights of clients, including but not limited to their right to independence, autonomy, and self-determination; their right to choose and practice individual values, beliefs, religion, and culture; their right to privacy and dignity; and their right to live free from retaliation, discrimination and abuse.
