SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligible to work in Canada
• Hold a Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized college in Ontario
• Qualified First Aid & CPR Level C
• Current immunization record
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• 1 year (preferred) Personal Support Care experience

• Promotes resident focused care
• Performs personal care duties for clients in their home and/or long-term care and retirement homes
• Provides assistance with a variety of household tasks
• Provides cognitive, social and/or emotional support to the client
• Understand the needs of residents and have effective oral and verbal communication skills
• Complete daily task reports for clients regarding their behavior and any changes in their daily routines
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Be willing to work varied shifts, Monday to Sunday (morning, day and night shifts available)
