We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in supporting clients with daily living activities and enhancing their quality of life, particularly for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field such as assisted living or nursing home environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of senior care practices and familiarity with working with persons with disabilities is advantageous.
• Skills in medication administration and meal preparation are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player committed to client-centered care.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of clients, including availability for evenings or weekends if required.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as prescribed and ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home or community.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Engage clients in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
• Support clients with dementia care strategies to enhance their daily experiences.
