OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. EXPERIENCE

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred.
  • Familiarity with patient care practices and working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies for effective communication.
  • Experience in home care settings is advantageous.
  • Strong caregiving skills, including meal preparation and medication administration.
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a healthy environment for clients.

Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
  • Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring health conditions.
  • Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
  • Assisting with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and ensuring a safe environment for clients.
  • Supporting clients with dementia care and other cognitive impairments through engaging activities.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
