JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering support with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

SKILLS

  • Experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is preferred
  • Strong background in patient care, including senior care and hospice care
  • Familiarity with caregiving techniques and home care practices
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively while maintaining a safe environment
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and families
  • Empathy and patience when working with individuals facing physical or cognitive challenges
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting as required
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
