JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized care to individuals in the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe and supportive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have one of the following qualifications (required):
• Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities or the Ministry of Education approved program
• RN/RPN Student who with a minimum successful completion of year one of the program
• Internationally licensed Nurse, Midwife or Physician
• Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to adapt to different environments and provide individualized care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate attitude and a genuine desire to help others

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Feeding, dressing, bathing, transferring, incontinence care, medication reminders, meal preparation, providing transportation, light housekeeping, companionship

DUTIES

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Help with light housekeeping tasks and laundry
• Escort clients to appointments and outings
• Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
