JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to become an integral part of our care team. As a PSW, you will work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your voice is valued and your contributions directly enhance Elder’s quality of life. You’ll help implement our Green House Model of care, which emphasizes dignity, autonomy, and relationship-based service.

REQUIREMENTS

• Vulnerable Police Background Check (working with Seniors)
• Valid CPR & First Aid Certificate
• Previous experience in an Assisted Living Retirement home is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with Elders and their families.
• A caring attitude and commitment to providing high-quality services.
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: $19.50-$26.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 15 – 37.5 per week

• Recognize and respond to the needs of the Elders.
• Promote autonomy of Elders in decision-making.
• Support purposeful engagement of Elders through opportunities for self-care, help n the home, participate in community events, and develop connections with Elders in the home.
• Assist Elders with Personal Care as required.
• Prepare and serve meals and other nutritional snacks between meals.
• Keep all areas of the home clean, performing housekeeping duties.
• Make bed and change linen as per care plan guidelines.
• Proactively support Elders and learn their routines.
• Other duties as needed.
