QUALIFICATIONS

· PSW Certificate from recognized educational institution
· Previous experience in dementia or memory care is preferred
.Training in Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA), P.I.E.C.E.S or Dementia Care Training is an asset
· CPR/First Aid Certification
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Must be able to speak Ukrainian and English fluently
· Strong observation and reporting abilities
· Strong Computer skills are required
· Current (not older than 6 months) Police Reference Check
.2 step TB test
· Have a keen interest in working with the elderly, work rotating shifts
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift, turn, and assist residents safely.
· Capacity to respond to emergencies quickly.
· May involve long periods of standing and walking.
Personal Attributes:
· Compassionate, patient, and respectful.
· Calm under pressure and adaptable to residents’ changing needs.
· Team player with a resident-first mindset.

Pay: $24.17 per hour
