ABOUT YOU

We are looking for people who:

  • Can work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights available)
  • Hold a current driver’s licence and have a reliable vehicle
  • Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
  • Are experienced in the field, and/or hold relevant qualifications (not required - training provided!)
  • A smartphone device

Responsibilities

As a Personal Support Worker, you’ll directly assist clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as required
  • Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene
  • Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management
  • Basic wound care and self-medication
  • Domestic support (meal preparation, household duties and laundry)
  • Community access (driving to appointments and social activities)
