Description CDA National Reserve proudly offers the following benefits: 401k Eligible Holiday Pay Eligible End of year bonus eligible Pay Range: $15.00 per hour + commission eligible Anticipated employment period: April 1, 2026 - October 31, 2026 Position Summary: The Personal Trainer will instruct or coach groups or individuals in exercise activities, demonstrate techniques and form, observe participants, and explain to them corrective measures to improve their skills. Responsibilities and Duties: • Personal Training for clients. • Works with clients and coworkers to schedule sessions. • Conduct fitness assessments. • Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercises. •Instructs participants individually and in class settings in maintaining exertion levels to maximize benefits from exercise routines. •Observes participants and informs them of corrective measures to help them improve their skills. Monitors participants’ progress and adapts programs as needed. •Explains and enforces safety rules and regulations governing sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment. •Plans routines, chooses music, and selects different movements for each set of muscles depending on participants capabilities and limitations. •Evaluates participants abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develops suitable training programs to meet special requirements. Teaches proper breathing techniques used during physical exertion. Requirements • Understanding of Golf or TPI Certification preferred. • Knowledge of the fundamentals of exercise science and fitness techniques. • Understanding nutrition and diet. • Strong customer service orientation. • Demonstrated ability to lead classes effectively. • At least two years of experience as a fitness trainer preferred. • Certification in personal training or TPI required. Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and move about freely in a multi-floor building and in open space. The employee is frequently required to visually observe the condition of his/her surroundings. He/she is routinely required to bend, stoop, stand, walk, carry and lift objects weighing 50 pounds or less. It is inevitable that other duties will arise from time to time.
