Description Job Summary: Norfolk Yacht & Country Club is seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Trainer with evening and weekend availability to join our fitness team. This role involves creating personalized workout programs, leading training sessions, and supporting members in achieving their fitness goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, has strong interpersonal skills, and is dedicated to member satisfaction. Responsibilities: Conduct personal training sessions with members. Assess client fitness levels and design personalized workout plans based on their goals, abilities, and capabilities. Motivate and guide members through their fitness routines to ensure proper form, safety, and maximum results. Track and review members’ progress and adjust workout plans as needed. Educate members on best practices in fitness, health, and wellness. Maintain a clean and organized training environment. Stay up-to-date on the latest fitness techniques and trends. Requirements Requirements: National Certification as a Personal Trainer (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, etc.). Previous experience as a personal trainer or in a similar role. Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of fitness principles, techniques, and equipment usage. Ability to motivate and inspire members. Preferred Qualifications: First Aid and CPR certification. Additional specialization (e.g., strength training, functional fitness, etc.).
