- MVMT STRENGTH COACH REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be passionate about teaching others and seeing people progress in their physical skills
  • Must be energetic, fun, growth oriented and team spirited.
  • Fluent in Strength and Conditioning (squats, deadlifts, presses, how to perform conditioning workouts). Competency in these can be basic to begin, but a foundation is needed to build on
  • Eligible to work minimum 10hrs a week. More hours can be grown into the role over time based on competency and business needs
  • Able to work morning (5am start time) and or evening shifts (8:30pm End time)
  • Able to work one weekend shift (Saturday morning and Sunday morning) at least once every 4 weekends
  • Must have an insurable training certification.
Responsibilities
  • Coach 60minute Strength and Conditioning classes
  • Coach Personal Training Sessions
  • Provide facility coverage between shifts. Responsibilities for this are simply to be at the front door, greet members, say goodbye to members, minor cleaning/tidying up, as well as miscellaneous tasks that may be given. There is lots of “free time” during facility coverage and coaches are free to do other work at that time: stretch, school work or other, as long as they get your tasks done.
  • Further work can be provided (personalized programming, business tasks, management roles) depending on the fit
