PERSONAL TRAINER – BALLARAT

Beyond Health Services is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Trainer to deliver one-on-one and small group exercise sessions for clients with disability or complex health needs in Ballarat. This is an ongoing role for someone who is confident, patient, and passionate about helping people improve their fitness, wellbeing, and independence.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Fitness, or equivalent qualification
  • Has experience supporting clients with disability, neurodivergence, or complex health needs
  • Is patient, proactive, and adaptable to individual needs
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully with participants, families, and support teams
  • Can work independently and follow structured exercise plans
  • Has a person-centred, inclusive, and trauma-informed approach
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Personal Trainer, you will deliver safe, structured, and engaging exercise programs tailored to the needs and goals of participants, including those with disability or neurodivergence. You will encourage skill development, independence, and confidence in movement while promoting overall health and well-being.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Delivering individual or small group exercise programs
  • Assessing participant fitness and adapting programs as needed
  • Supporting participants with exercise techniques, safety, and progression
  • Motivating participants and promoting engagement in physical activity
  • Assisting participants to access community-based exercise programs or facilities
  • Maintaining accurate session notes and progress reports
  • Collaborating with allied health professionals and support teams
