The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-DiamondWaldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Personal Concierge/Guest Experience Planner to join their team!
Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California’s surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

  • Classification: Full Time
  • Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $22.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Responsibilities
  • Provide information, recommendations and booking services for a variety of guest inquiries, including, but not limited to, directions, hours of outlet operation, hotel services, transportation and travel arrangements, tour and event tickets, restaurant reservations, and medical care
  • Process and deliver messages for guests
  • Retrieve mail, small packages and facsimiles for guests as requested
  • Arrange and confirm recreational, business and dining activities both inside and outside the hotel for guests
  • Respond to special requests for services including, but not limited to, dentists, doctors, child care, florists, etc.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Register VIP guests, as needed
  • Promote Company marketing programs and distribute printed materials, as neede
