PERSONNEL COORDINATOR

Nhwelmen Construction is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Personnel Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our workforce through effective coordination of administrative, onboarding, payroll and communication processes. The Personnel Coordinator ensures that employee-related tasks run smoothly while contributing to a positive and respectful workplace culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a personnel, administrative, or HR support role within Canada
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Experience with Greenshield is an asset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with a diverse team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to complete online orientations and digital training requirements as needed
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and access to reliable transportation
    Location: This position will be based out of our Kamloops office.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records and documentation
  • Coordinate job postings, monitor applicants, and schedule interviews
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire checklists and exit interviews
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits and general workplace matters
  • Perform payroll data entry, process payroll and maintain payroll records
  • Administer benefit enrollment and provide employee support for coverage questions
  • Assist in resolving workplace issues and fostering a healthy, respectful work environment
  • Prepare and maintain subcontractor agreements in accordance with company policies and project requirements
  • Track and organize personnel data to support internal reporting and process improvements
  • Lead or support initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Management team
