Summary: The Personnel/Information/Physical Security Advisor administers and manages the Command’s Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Management Program, ensuring compliance with all relevant national and military directives. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Program and Policy Management: Contractor advises on the SCI security program, implementing and maintaining policies from the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), DoD, and USAF. Develops, evaluates, and monitors procedures to protect SCI material. SCIF and Facilities Lifecycle: Manages all SCI facility and temporary secure working area (TSWA) validation proceedings. Generates concept validation, pre-construction, and accreditation packages. Prepares SCIF construction specifications and security alarm/reaction plans based on IC Directive 705 and DoDM 5105.21. Security Operations: Investigates SCI security infractions and prepares reports on findings. Devises risk-based, cost-effective physical security plans that minimize operational interference. Coordinates the selection and installation of intrusion detection systems and other security hardware. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Windows and office automation software, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant security field or related discipline. Experience: 5 years hands-on personnel and information security experience out of the last 12 years. At least 5 years of additional experience supporting Air Force and Special Operations Personnel and Information Security programs. Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
