POSITION SUMMARY

As a Medical Scribe, you’ll work directly alongside physicians, providing real-time documentation support. From transcribing patient histories and medical records to assisting with clerical tasks, your role will be key to helping healthcare providers focus on their patients. You’ll handle tasks like recording diagnoses, updating patient records, and supporting the medical team in delivering efficient, high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Document patient encounters: Accurately transcribe patient history, exams, and physician-dictated notes into medical records.
  • Record medical details: Capture diagnoses, treatments, test results, prescriptions, and orders with precision.
  • Support communication: Transcribe consultations or discussions with family members when directed by the physician.
  • Clerical support: Assist with tasks such as faxing, managing phone calls, and preparing referral letters as needed.
  • Maintain accuracy: Ensure that all medical documentation is thorough, organized, and completed promptly.
  • Collaborate with the team: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth workflows and efficient patient care.
  • Ad hoc tasks: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team and maintain excellent patient care.
