The Pest Control and Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing pest control services and general cleaning tasks for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This role requires technical skills to identify pest problems and apply effective solutions, as well as thorough cleaning services to ensure cleanliness and hygiene across various environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in pest control or cleaning services is preferred.
• Certification in pest control (e.g., pesticide application license) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, cleaning agents, and pest control products.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients professionally.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Ability to lift heavy cleaning equipment or supplies.
• Experience using pest control tools and machinery.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Pest Control Services:
• Conduct inspections of client properties to identify pest issues (e.g., insects, rodents, etc.).
• Apply pesticides, traps, and other pest control methods according to safety guidelines.
• Advise customers on preventative measures to avoid future pest problems.
• Maintain accurate records of pest control treatments and follow-up visits.
• Cleaning Services:
• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting areas in residential and commercial properties.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch areas, such as kitchens, restrooms, and offices.
• Use cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, pressure washers) and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Report any cleaning or pest-related issues to management for follow-up.
• Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, offering recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Educate clients on proper pest control and cleaning practices.
• Communicate any issues or special requirements to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and industry regulations, particularly those related to pest control chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of pest control products and cleaning chemicals.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during service delivery.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Maintain and care for all pest control and cleaning equipment to ensure it’s in proper working condition.
• Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Complete service reports, including details of treatments, tasks performed, and customer feedback.
• Document and maintain accurate records of materials used and services rendered.
