We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pest Control Engineer to join our team immediately. Job Summary: The Pest Control Engineer will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest infestations in compliance with Sharjah Municipality regulations. The role involves applying safe and effective pest control methods, maintaining equipment, and ensuring client satisfaction through professional service delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest issues and assess treatment needs. - Develop and implement pest control plans using approved chemicals, tools, and techniques. - Ensure all pest control activities comply with Sharjah Municipality guidelines and UAE regulations. - Safely handle, store, and dispose of pesticides and chemicals in accordance with safety standards. - Provide detailed reports on inspections, treatments, and recommendations to clients. - Maintain and calibrate pest control equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Educate clients on preventive measures to minimize pest recurrence. - Respond promptly to client inquiries and emergency service requests. - Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and regulatory changes. Qualifications and Requirements: - Mandatory: Sharjah Municipality approval for pest control operations. - Mandatory: UAE Ministry of Education Equivalency Certificate for relevant qualifications. - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in entomology, environmental science, or a related field. - Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in pest control or related field in the UAE. - In-depth knowledge of pest control methods, chemicals, and safety protocols. - Valid UAE driver’s license is preferred. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Physically fit to handle equipment and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor). - Availability: Must be ready to join immediately. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with integrated pest management (IPM) practices. - Proficiency in documenting and reporting pest control activities. - Knowledge of local pest species and environmental regulations in the UAE.
