JOB TEAM SPECIALIST

Opkill is family run business who provide professional expert advice and service to large council contracts to both domestic and commercial including the food service, food processing, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, to keep their environment clean and safe, operate efficiently and achieve sustainability goals.
Opkill are seeking a Job Team Technician to join its growing job team. This is to support the pest control technicians and business in completing remedial work. The role will require working across the West Midlands.
Ideally, you will also process some previous labouring, building or roofing experience. You will need to be proficient using hand tools, working at heights, working in confined spaces.
The work will include working in loft spaces, working on solar panels, and all other remedial work that we catty out. Tasks include:
Loft Clearances
Solar Panel Proofing
Gardening/Landscaping
Minor DIY jobs
A driving licence is essential.
You’ll be working 21.5hours a week Tuesday to Thursday, with flexibility to achieve business needs is required. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to get into maintenance and in the future pest control.
Full time hours may be available in the future, there will be some overtime

• Establishing effective working relationships with a variety of customers.
• Keeping abreast of Opkill’s product/service offerings and industry conditions.
• Delivering a quality inspection and treatment service to exceed customer expectation.
• Upselling Opkills products and services and/or refer sales enquiries for leads to Account Executives.
• Planning works routes efficiently and productively and achieve 100% state of service.
• Accurately submitting reports and other related paperwork as required at specified time intervals.
• Managing a territorial area and all customers contained within it.
• Be comfortable for outdoor and indoor work, confined spaces and working at height.
• Possess or able to obtain state pest certification (RSPH/IPCA).
• Previous face to face customer service experience with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to upsell products.
• Previous pest elimination industry or field service experience preferred, although not essential.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload
